We offer indoor dining and outdoor dining, close to Inchydoney Island and immersed in the Irish countryside. We serve seasonal food which, as much as possible, is grown on Camus organic farm close to Clonakilty Town. This supports our zero food metres and zero food waste policy. Water is drawn from the on-farm well. Solar thermal panels and solar photovoltaic panels contribute to our hot water and electrical power respectively. A large log-burning stove, using homegrown firewood, provides the heating over Winter. The small amount of food waste generated is composted on-farm and used to improve our soils. Recent additions include walkways and nature trails around the farm allowing diners to get up close to the cattle and wildlife. Buzzards, Peregrines and Kestrels are regularly seen, and dusk brings Bats along with occasional sightings of Owls. There is a short walk from car park to farm, with a set down bay at the fully accessible restaurant for the less mobile. We aim to keep the farm car-free and encourage our visitors to enjoy the sights, scents and sounds of the landscape. This walk is referred to as ‘the first course’, as it is a feast for the eyes and ears. The botharÃn is lined with lush hedgerows and maturing trees, home to numerous birds and butterflies. Reservations are essential as the food is harvested and prepared to order. We open from Easter to Christmas.  Winter hours are from 6pm Friday and Saturday, Summer hours include Thursdays, with the first course served at 7pm. Listed in ‘The Irish Times Guide to 100 of the Best Places to Eat in Ireland’ and noted in their ‘Top 7 Outdoor Dining Spots’. Head Chef, Bob Cairns was shortlisted for Chef of the Year 2024. Bob and his team create magic in the kitchen, transforming simple, seasonal ingredients into sensational dishes that will leave you delighted with your dining experience. Fresh organic vegetables are supplied daily from the kitchen garden, complemented by local produce as required. Beyond the restaurant, there are nature trails and farm walks to explore with panoramic views over Clonakilty Bay, or get up close to our suckler herd of native Irish Dexter Cattle. The farm offers free camping for diners.
